Course Overview

The Game Art and Design programme is available in 12, 27, and 36-month versions, designed for aspiring game designers and artists. From fundamentals of concept art to advanced 3D game environments and character development, this programme covers all aspects of game creation. Students will learn to design engaging worlds, immersive characters, and interactive gameplay for PC, console, and mobile platforms. By graduation, learners will have a complete understanding of the artistic and technical workflows behind modern game development.

2D Concept Art & Character Design

Sketching, anatomy, and creating visually appealing characters.

3D Modeling & Environment Design

Using industry tools to create game-ready assets, environments, and props.

Texturing & Lighting

Techniques to add realism, mood, and detail to game visuals.

Game Engines

Hands-on training in Unreal Engine and Unity for gameplay integration.

 Animation for Games

Character rigging, keyframe animation, and motion capture basics.

Interactive Design

User interface design, mechanics, and interactivity principles.

Level Design Projects

Students will design immersive and engaging game levels by applying principles of storytelling, environment layout, and interactive gameplay mechanics. These projects help learners understand how space, pacing, and player psychology affect overall gameplay experience.

Character & Creature Development

Learners will create original characters and creatures, focusing on anatomy, design aesthetics, and cultural influences. From concept sketches to high-poly 3D models, students will bring their creations to life with texturing, rigging, and animation techniques suited for multiple game genres.

 

Capstone Project

In the final stage, students will collaborate in teams to design and build a fully playable game prototype. This project replicates a real studio workflow, combining art, design, and technical skills, while also giving students the chance to present their game to peers, mentors, and potential recruiters.
